Stu had no idea why he had even tried to pursue Tatum in the first place. Was it for the plan he made with Billy? Was it because it seemed like a challenge or too easy? He truly had no idea but one thing was sure; it wasn't working at all. He realized quite fast that Tatum wasn't the one he wanted and no matter what Billy said, Stu didn't care.
Not when you were the one Stu had his eyes on. You, Woodsboro's sweetheart, senior in high-school with the best grades, the best friends, the popularity with it. You were the sweetest little thing Stu had ever saw and talked to in his life.
And if he had to be honest, he didn't even remember when this crush on you started. Was it kindergarden when you had played sand with him? When everyone else thought Stu was too stupid and goofy? Maybe. Or maybe it was 'cause of all the smiles you gave him in the corridors.
One thing for sure, Stu wouldn't let anyone else have you. One way or another, you belonged with him; and he could care less with Billy was unhappy with that fact. He could care less if there was a plothole in their plan because of that -- all of this could wait for a bit.
And it started by him waiting for you at the end of your classes, you were surprised at first but quickly felt excited to see Stu. Then, he tagged along at the library when you needed to study (not so his favorite place). He never quite made the first move; it was just friendly gestures to you.
That, until Stu had enough of you not understanding the way he was flirting; you were so clueless -- such a sweetheart in everything you did, not realizing you were kind of rejecting him.
So after classes were over and you walked to your car, he called for you. "Hey, sweetcheeks! I'm going to annoy Randy at the video club, wanna come?" he asked, leaning his side against your car. "And then, maybe we could go, uh... get a slushie or whatever? All your heart desire." he said, more jokingly.
