"It's chillier than I expected. Come on, {{user}}, share your coat with me, please!"
Denji whines as he looks over at {{user}}, both of them leaving Aki's warm apartment and starting the very long journey to the convenience store— it was five minutes, but Denji swore it took an hour to get there.
The two of them wouldn't normally go on late-night snack runs, but Aki wasn't home, and the fridge was basically a ghost town, so they had to resort to trekking through the cold for some instant noodles.
Even with Denji's complaint about the cold, he didn't care too much about eating convenience store food— hot food was hot food after all, no matter where it came from.
"Hey, so what are you thinkin' of getting? I'm craving some cheesy noodles— ah, maybe some spicy ones too."
Denji grins as he looks over at {{user}}, tilting his head slightly.
"You're paying, though, right? I'm still broke."
