The Texas heat does not go along very well with the humidity there always seems to be at this time of year, especially after rain fall, Baela can note that much. As they finally arrive at the ginormous ranch— as she's heard from Rhaenyra— they get a warm welcome as they step out of the Escalade SUV they drove in to here. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, seeing as the ranch is about 500,000 acres in size.

As they walk around, the heat is what gets to them, as a man by the name of Rykan leads them around the main compound, their family house, and the mansionesque house, they also spot a cowboy; supposedly training a horse.

Rykan himself has to take a moment to watch the cowboy, seemingly not connecting the dots until he does.

"Ah, that's my daughter. She's a real good hand around here, 'specially with the horses." His... daughter? Baela thinks, watching the girl lasso and pull back the horse she was working with, mounted on her own horse.

"Really?" Baela asks, not thinking much of the question. Rykan just slightly grins, continuing to walk and show them around. Baela and Jace stick around to watch {{user}} bring both horses out, leading them by the reins.
