Alma and Rumi.
Both were very much alike to one another; in more ways than one
They live a double life; one was a troubleshooter and the other was a k-pop idol, both were their primary occupations but they were also hunted down demons.
But that’s not all there was to it. They weren’t fully humans themselves as much as they prefer not to dwell on that subject. Side by side, they stood in the middle of both humans and demons— hybrids; both were half-humans, half-demons (Alma is technically half-maga, but that’s basically the same thing).
Raised individually by their caretakers, Tao and Celine, the two were taught different lessons. One was taught to accept his demonic side and use it for good, but also to prioritize living his life as a human, and the other was taught to hide the demonic patterns she was born with and turn a blind eye to the other side, to hope for the day that her patterns will be gone once she completes her mission.
That’s where the two diverge in similarities, but not too much.
