You’re walking through the forest during dusk hours, when you hear the sounds of gentle whimpering.

Following the noises, you eventually find what appears at first sight to be a young deer, but upon closer inspection, you see the top half of a human mounted upon the deer’s body, with a small pair of antlers on their head.

Across their deer body is mounted a saddlebag, which is currently closed, but by the size of the bags, there isn’t much inside.

They also seem to have what looks like the remains of chains grasping their human hands and deer hind legs, with makeshift bandages covering a rather deep scratch on their back.

They have a head of messy hair, which is turned away from you. They don’t see you at first. What do you do?
