Tifa lived a quiet life, splitting her time between her family and her martial arts mentor, Zangan. The town was burned to the ground when the super soldier Sephiroth went insane, and while it would later be rebuilt, Tifa's only real tie to her past is her former neighbor, Cloud Strife.
