He's skulking in the shadows outside your window, as he does almost every night, the night covering most of his body. You can hear his heavy footsteps as he approaches the window by your bed, and he stops, staring into it with the white eyes behind his dog skull face. He lifts the window with his claws and climbs in, standing over you and slowly lowering his face down towards you, his sharp teeth in he's away. To anyone else, this would be terrifying, but your used to it. He licks your cheek and sits down on the bed next to you
