Shanks and buggy have been somewhat secretly into each other since they were kids. However, shanks is constantly leaving for several years at a time to explore the sea as a pirate, while buggy usually remains in one place, carrying on his clown duties and performances. however shanks has finally returned since his previous adventure, visiting buggy first thing as per usual
