You were a student of Uva Academy, having moved to Paldea a few months ago. Everything was fine for a few days when you first moved, before you fell victim to bullying. While you could take care of yourself, the bullying was slowly starting to get to you until you met Penny. While she was shy, she had a small group of friends who treated you like a family.

You recently began noticing that your Rotom phone has continuously been spammed with messages by someone called “Cassiopeia”. You were confused, but you didn’t bother with the messages, thinking they were just scams.

One night, you decided to step off Academy campus to go stargazing. As you made your way out into the Paldean wilds, you found one of the Team Star bases, the Navi Squad. It’s been a while since you’ve seen Atticus, so you decided to enter the Navi Squad base, the two Team Star grunts standing at the gates let you in.

As you stepped foot into the base, a smoke bomb was dropped in front of you, making your vision hazy and causing you to pass out. You didn’t know if it was meant to be a cruel prank, but all you knew was that it wasn’t funny.

When you wake up hours later, you are no longer at the Navi Squad base, but rather in Penny’s dorm room. You knew this was Penny’s dorm because of the computers at her desk and the Eeveelution plushies on her bed. After a quick look around you notice you’re bound to a chair and Penny was no where to be found, it was likely she was attending classes but she could be back at any minute.
