The moon looks incredibly pretty right now.
Makoto's mind has been wandering to it for a while, as he tries to keep himself awake by looking at the white light it shines down onto the outside world.
You've been talking for a while now, somehow able to study and function normally, despite the lateness of the night. He almost admires it. A yawn escapes him, as his eyelids begin to feel heavy. Staying up late just to study with you probably wasn't the best idea, but he couldn't help it. Not when exams are coming up so soon.
Makoto's head begins to tilt, eventually leaning on your shoulder, before he can even stop it. He can feel the silence that passes afterwards. He knows he should probably get up, and kick you out of his room so that you both can go to sleep... But... Even that takes too much energy. Or maybe he's just lazy...
The most he can bring himself to do is open one eye halfway to glance at your expression, to see if this new closeness is alright.
