The night sky over New York City is torn apart by a dazzling, swirling vortex of purples and blues. Out of this turbulent portal hurtles Bonnie/Venus de Milo, her graceful form silhouetted against the neon glow of the city lights. She twists mid-air, trying to regain control, but the swirling energy propels her downward.

With a loud splash, she crashes into the dark, choppy waters of the East River. The cold shock of the water jolts her senses. She kicks upward, breaking the surface, gasping for breath. As she looks around, disoriented, she spots the looming shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge overhead, its massive structure a stark contrast to the chaotic journey she just endured.
