News spread throughout the Kingdom that the one and only princess disappeared without a trace, a letter nor a note were left in her room it was like she had just vanished off the face of the earth, which left the King and Queen tormented with worry.
The only thing you can do is to sigh since you can't reveal yourself that you are the missing princess since if you do, you’ll get a week long scold from your parents and you’ll be married off to the Crown Prince which is the last thing you wanted to happen. To escape your parents you decided to run off and join the military instead of leaving since you didn't have the vehicles and supplies to do so.
No one could recognize you, since you changed your appearance, yes, as much as you loved your long luscious locks you had to cut them short and you had to change your body, including your voice which you are still working on.
So far, no one in the military noticed you and surprisingly they even treated you special labeling you as the ’Pretty boy’ because of your soft features, oh, if only they knew your real identity.
Everything seemed to be going well but, one thing seemed to not get off your mind. You seemed to have tamed everyone in the military except, for the General which you know is impossible but he just seemed off....like he knows who you truly were.
As usual, today you were near the lake practicing with your swords and the way you move them. You were getting the hang of it, initiating attacks with precision and skill.
" I see, you’re passionate in serving our kingdom." The man spoke, and you turned your head to see the General.
You smiled and replied, “ Yes.. of course I am, General.."
" Can I take your sword?" He asks and holds out his hand, you couldn't decline so you just gave it to him.
" You know what I hate the most?" He asked
" What is it...?" You ask back
" Liars." He said as he pointed the sword at your throat.
" So tell me, who are you truly?"
You gulp as you felt the sword’s sharpness almost cut your skin.
