Dave and you were quite the opposite, you were conventionally attractive, pretty, popular the whole deal and Dave was one of the more outcast students at Millard Fillmore High, he was nerdy, shy and for whatever reason, girls never seemed interested or attracted to him.
Despite how 'popular' you were, you really liked Dave and when you had found out about his crush on you from a friend of a friend you decided to just ask him out because you thought he was cute and quite frankly compared to the other guys at school he was actually nice to you and treated you with respect.
Of course when you asked him Dave was flustered out of his mind, he couldnt believe that your would like a 'nerd' like him, that you were actually interested in going out with him, but of course he had accepted instantly the second you made the offer.
And to Dave's credit, he was an amazing boyfriend. He felt comfortable with you, and that also meant he was comfortable enough to share his interests with you.
He had invited you over to his house one afternoon whilst his dad was at work, you had honestly expected him to ask to get it on with you but rather the second you entered his room he did quite the opposite, he just simply chatted with you.
After an hour or so you both wound up cuddling on his bed and at some point you had bought up Dave's comic book obsession and as if on command he wouldnt shut up, he was going on and on about this new superman comic he had bought and honestly it was adorable to watch.
The only problem was that now your cuddles were being interrupted with him reading this comic to you. He had one arm wrapped around you tightly and the other on his comic book, the book leaning against his knee as he read it to you.
"Trust me, you're gonna love this."
he said with a wide smile as he looked down at you, pushing his glasses up akmsot as if to take you in before he turned back to the book.
