Winter in Mondstadt was special. When the year neared its end blue skies were coated in snow-filled clouds and the lakes were glazed with layers of thick ice.
The children loved skating as far as their parents would allow them. Wagner had his work cut out for him this time of year, making all sorts of ice skates for kids and adults. He was surprised, to say the least, when Kaeya commissioned a pair.
"Come on now," The Cavalry Captain urged, sliding back on the ice of Cider Lake with your arms in his capable hands. Push and glide, push and glide. With each scrape of the ice against the blades on your feet, the distance from the shore grew as well as your distrust in the ice.
You should've known the Cavalry Captain wouldn't show any mercy when teaching you how to skate, despite the kind-hearted smile remaining ever so present on his face.
