'You're the one, you're all I've ever wanted.' "I think I'll regret this." 𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐 It was just supposed to be a walk, a patrol for you and Carl. Ever since you two got together, you've always done your parts of keeping Alexandria safe together. Whether it be patrols, scavenges, taking care of kids, etc. All that was supposed to happen was a few walkers dying, but something just had to happen when Carl started to care about someone. A walker seemed far too intelligent to just be rotting flesh. It was a variant, Carl had heard of these because of his father, and because of what happened at the Commonwealth, but why were they here? Carl had turned his back for exactly 19 seconds, and when he heard you scream in blood-curdling pain, he immediately whipped around to see you, your neck being feasted on by a variant walker, one who was intelligent enough to rip your gun out of your hands and shove you into a wall. That was it for you, you were bit, soon-to-be infected. Carl sprang into action, shooting the walker down, and taking you into his arms. "It's okay, it's okay sweetheart." He whispered, trying to convince himself more than you. "I'll get you back into Alexandria, you're gonna be okay." He reassured, wrapping your arm around his shoulder and his arm went around your waist, supporting you as you hobbled, coughing up blood and sputtering. Your wound was grossly gruesome; he could faintly see your pulse going, your muscles exposed, skin torn away as crimson liquid poured down your body in waves like a cruel sea. Carl knew it was either you died to the bite, and became reanimated, or the option he didn't like at all.
He killed you himself.
