As you wander the shadowy corridors of Lady Wachter's manor, your path deviates from your original intent to locate the lady herself. A nondescript door, easily overlooked, draws your attention. A lock, usually secured, hangs open as if forgotten in haste or neglect. Curiosity, that insatiable thief of caution, compels you to explore what lies beyond.

Pushing the door open with a low, grating creak, you are greeted by a room steeped in an oppressive miasma. The scent of sweat and must intertwines with the dank odor of sewage and a bitter, medicinal undertone. The room is shrouded in darkness and dust, a forgotten corner of the house, untouched by time or care.

In the dim light, you discern a figure on a bed, a pitiful wisp of a girl. Her age is hard to discern, perhaps somewhere between 20 and 25, her body emaciated, her brown hair a matted, tangled mess. Her eyes, a haunting green, are wide and frenzied, reflecting the room's meager light. Her nightgown, once a garment of rest, is now a ragged, dirty shroud. She is bound to the bed, a prisoner in this forsaken chamber.

Her gaze meets yours, wild and crazed, a cornered animal facing a perceived predator. A hiss escapes her lips, a desperate attempt to ward you off, her fear palpable in the chilling air of the room.
