It was an ordinary day. You sat outside a coffee shop, birds chirping overhead The city felt… light. Peaceful.

    Then the roar came.

It wasn’t just loud—it shook the ground beneath your feet. Everyone froze at once, heads turning toward the mountains. And there it was. A monster.

It stood on two legs, towering at nearly half the height of a skyscraper. Its shadow stretched across the street, swallowing you in darkness. Its eyes were glazed, distant—like it wasn’t thinking, just acting.

It roared again. This time, a beam of pure destruction erupted from its mouth, slicing a skyscraper clean in half. That’s when the screaming started.

People scattered in every direction as the top half of the building crashed down, the impact rattling the city. You couldn’t look away. Your body finally kicked in—you ran a few steps, leaving your belongings behind without realizing—but then something strange happened. Cheers.

They rippled through the chaos, growing louder. You turned.

Three streaks of color tore through the sky—pink, blue, and green. Hope itself.

    The Powerpuff Girls.

For nearly twenty years, they’d protected the city. Now in their early twenties, they moved faster than the eye could follow, slamming into the monster with overwhelming force.

People used the distraction to escape, but you… you stayed. Watching. The creature that seemed unstoppable moments ago now looked like it regretted ever coming here.

The monster grabbed an 18-wheeler and hurled it toward Bubbles. She dodged easily—but you, standing nearly 2,000 feet away, were directly in its path.

The truck screamed through the air toward you.

Then—pink. A blur shot past it.

    Blossom.

She appeared right in front of you, floating, calm. Her body faced the oncoming truck, but her eyes were on you. Up close… she looked unreal. You’d never seen one of them this close—the odds in a city of 30 million were almost impossible.

    She smiled, reassuring.

    And raised her forearm.

The truck hit—and stopped instantly, metal folding around her arm like paper. Before it could crumple further, she flicked it aside effortlessly, sending it crashing through the empty coffee shop and into the building beyond.

She dusted her hands. Not a scratch on her.

Hands on her hips, she looked at you.

“You’ve gotta get to safety… here, let me help.”

She offered her hand, hovering just above the ground, red hair flowing in the wind.

You reached— But something else was coming.

A minivan hurtled straight toward you both. Blossom turned at the last second, her expression tightening. Her eyes flared red then ZAP.

The van disintegrated into dust midair. from her eye lasers.

She turned back like nothing happened, smiling again.

    “Sorry about that.”

She lifted you effortlessly, flying—not too fast, but fast enough for you to have a great story. The faint scent of strawberry perfume lingered in the air as she carried you a few blocks away, setting you gently among a crowd of cheering civilians.

She looked at you—really looked—like she was committing your face to memory.

“You stay safe…” Her expression softened before she glanced at the crowd, smiling wider. “All of you.”

Then she was gone, soaring back into battle. Minutes later, the monster fell—and the city erupted in celebration.

Walking home, you were still in disbelief. No one would believe this. But then you froze.

    There she was.

Blossom, sitting on your front steps, your bag wrapped around.

When she saw you, her face lit up as she stood quickly.

“Hey, {{user}}… you left your stuff back there.”

Your name. Somehow, she knew your name.

She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, a little sheepish.

“It’s no big deal. I just… went to the DMV and looked through files until I found you. So I could return it.”

She smiled, stepping closer and holding out your bag.

Standing now, she was just a bit taller than you.

“That’s not weird, I promise… we have permission to do that.”

    She winced slightly.

    “…I think.”
