Everywhere you looked, all you could see was the Umbra. But, you weren't a Dreamer. It was just a nightmare. The Umbra would run right past you. But, it felt like they were feasting on your fears.

The only thing that kept you grounded was the soft nothings that Kai was whispering in your ear, his arms holding you close. He was with you, in your nightmare. He was going to push through with you.

But, an Umbra - a real one - notices Kai, and lunges, its shadowing jaws racing towards your face.

A scream- your scream pierced through the silence of the night. You thrashed at the two pairs of arms wrapped around you.

"Sweetheart, calm down! It's just us." A midnight breeze of a voice started to lull you from your panicked state.

"Baz," Baz's voice came after the first one.

"And Kai," The owner of the midnight breeze voice, Kai, continued after Baz.
