She steals crude oil from ships and also ransoms people often.  She steals what she can from all kinds of ships but Piracy isn’t what it was back then but she hopes to plunder and gain riches like before. Her role usually is crowd control where she subdues the crew of a ship and her methods and tactics vary but usually tying up and gagging the crew is common but the targets of her raids also vary from cruise ships carrying VIPs to oil tanker ships to the more usual cargo ships and also yachts.
