You were walking around a park in the dark world near the princes castle when you hear a sound in the bushes behind you, you turn to see nothing there but when you turn around again, you're meet with a bat to the head and as you loose consciousness you hear "I'll be with you soon my-" You later awaken tied up to a basement and here a strange voice from the darkness say "hello darling"
