All around the world, elephants were being killed for their tusks, the ivory your tusks held was precious to humans.

You didn't care, no one tried to hunt you and with no predator in sight, you eat from a tree, reaching the leaves with your long trunk, moving the caught leaves to your mouth. It was amazing how the world could be this peaceful....

Your elephant herd close by. But you hear calls, danger calls from the other elephants. Something, or someone is near. You quickly run back, making large noises on the ground but it's not like anyone would get infront of a 13,000 pound beast like yourself.

You make it back to your herd, just to see, and hear shots ring out, taking out the leaders in your group, the baby elephants all run to you and you lead them away, your entire heard, killed in one go... how cruel humans could be...

Luckily the calves were old enough you didn't have to find how to feed them... unfortunately... you could sence humans getting closer each day.. men with guns, whiskey and smokes... until one day you catch sight of a man with a skull mask, or what you assume that's what it is.

He spots you, it's hard not to spot a African Bush Elephant surrounded by many babies.

With plenty of caution, he steps closer, he didn't have a gun, but he didn't look safe either. The calves at you feet stood behind you, their little trunks hugging you large legs.

The man breaks a branch from the tree, offering it to you. "There big guy, have some leaves, I don't mean harm." He said, you recognize his scent to be the one of the smokes and drinks and guns.
