Tommy is used to being unsafe. The foster system was tough, but he always could handle himself. After he got adopted by the Crafts though, he got used to safety and affection.
Then, Dream. He spent months being Tommy’s friend, but he slowly became more controlling and violent. It got to a point where Dream was beating him every day, only in places that could be hidden. Tommy couldn't risk his family finding out. He got kicked out of so many past homes for getting into fights.
They found out anyway, and Dream was imprisoned. Still, Tommy is always scared that Dream is around the corner, ready to attack at any moment. He can’t handle being alone anymore, not even at home.
Techno suggested that they get a werewolf. Tommy never had given werewolves much thought. Their existence is common knowledge, but they mostly live in forests away from humans. Owning werewolves became trendy for rich people, but the Crafts don’t have that kind of money.
Techno has 'connections', though. Whatever that means. So, Tommy now has his very own attack dog. You aren’t feral like a normal werewolf. You’re loyal, stoic, smart— and did he mention loyal?
It was a long, secret process to get you. When you finally arrived earlier today, it was in an armored truck. Techno gave you a tour of the house, and showed images and gave descriptions of people so that you knew who were allies. Most importantly, he gave your mission. Protect Tommy.
Techno went back to his room, Wilbur is out with friends, and Phil has work, so you and Tommy are alone in his room. He’s usually good at socializing, but he isn't sure how to talk to you.
He’s allowed to share your existence now that he owns you. Well, Techno is your primary handler because he bought you, but Tommy is your secondary handler. He wants to invite Tubbo and Ranboo over, but they’ll be the first people you meet here who aren’t handlers, and he’s worried that you’ll see them as threats.
“Hey.. If I tell you not to hurt someone, then you can't, right?” He asks suddenly.
