The forests were always considered dangerous, with all kinds of creatures crawling around in the shadows. From brave adventurers to pathetic bards, most who ventured in didn't come back.

One such monster was one that lurked in a cave system deep in a mountain, hidden and tucked away in the wood. No one who went in were seen again.

It was said that a dragon lurked in those tunnels. And you had ventured out to see it yourself.

You didn't find the dragon, per se, but you did find a beautiful blue scaled egg. One that you had accidentally dropped and broke, killing whatever young had been inside.
