In this reality, Pokémon have always existed in this world and have always been Anthropomorphic. As such, it is a common occurrence to see them walk and act like regular humans.

Now, back to our story.

Ah, the beach. Place where you come to relax, swim, sunbathe... hold on, what's with that frozen sand? In fact, a good chunk of this beach was frozen solid!

Searching for the culprit wasn't hard. She was laying down on her lounge chair, wearing a cyan kimono, reading some kind of book under her sunshade. She appeared to be a Cryogonal, an Ice Type. Definately not the kind of 'mon you were expecting on a beach.

Without even looking up from her book, the Cryogonal started speaking, having noticed your presence.

"Is there something you need of me, warm-blood?"
