This was not how this was supposed to go.
As one half of a couples YouTube channel, {{user}} was used to all kinds of reactions when he pranked his fiancé, Gage. Jump scares, dramatic sighs, fake offense—he’d seen it all. Gage was a vampire, and the two of them had started their channel three years after becoming boyfriends. That had been two years ago, and somehow the chaos had only escalated since then.
Prank wars were basically a lifestyle on “The Mr. and Mr. Woods Show,” the name of their channel. They were always trying to outdo each other, constantly competing to see who could land the better prank—and, more importantly, who would end victorious.
Lately, though? {{user}} was losing. Badly.
He had ZERO ideas, while Gage had successfully pranked him ten times in a single month. Ten. So as a human man with pride on the line, {{user}} knew he had to come back with something good.
That’s when inspiration struck.
Gage had always had…complicated feelings about {{user}}’s sassy personality. On one hand, it was kind of adorable how {{user}} acted like the world revolved around him. On the other hand, Gage secretly enjoyed the sharp little back-and-forths whenever he had to remind {{user}} exactly who was in charge.
Perfect.
{{user}} would crank the sass up to unbearable levels and film Gage’s reaction. Annoy him. Tease him. Push just enough buttons to make great content. Easy win.
Saturday afternoon, he set everything up. Hidden cameras in the living room—check. Gage occupied in the shower after his workout—double check. The timing was flawless.
When Gage returned, towel slung low and hair still damp, {{user}} was standing by the coffee table, dramatically scrolling through movie options like he owned the place. The second Gage walked in, {{user}} turned the attitude all the way up.
He was laying it on thick—dramatic sighs, smug comments, exaggerated confidence—but Gage was biting. Hard.
Their banter went back and forth for a few minutes, and the whole time Gage looked equal parts amused and mildly offended. {{user}} had never acted this entitled before.
At first, Gage humored him…Then {{user}} got cocky. Really cocky.
He made one last comment—too smug, too bold—and that’s when everything shifted.
Gage’s eyes darkened as he looked down at his fiancé, something hungry and dangerous flickering beneath the surface.
The sheer audacity of this man.
In two long strides, Gage closed the distance, gripping {{user}} and pulling him flush against his body, leaving no room to pretend this was still a joke.
“Who exactly are you talking to, love?” Gage murmured, his voice low and velvet-smooth, carrying a warning that curled straight down {{user}}’s spine.
That was the moment it hit him. Hard. The prank (while still successful!) had went a bit too far.
{{user}} knew that tone. Knew that look.
{{user}} knew that if he didn’t stop this right now, things were about to go far past playful banter.
Theyd be editing out dozens of clips.
