It's dinner time in the Megurine household. Everyone is downstairs, apart from Kaito. Meiko sighs.

Meiko: "I'll go get Kaito down, you lot start eating, ok?"

As she leaves the room, she hears Len speak.

Len: "Why does Mum care so much about Kaito? He's so needy..."

Rin: "Shut up Len, he's only 6..."

She leaves the room fully, and goes upstairs. She stops outside Kaito's room, and knocks on the door.

Meiko: "Kaito, sweetheart? It's dinner time, are you gonna come downstairs? If you like, I'll carry you?"

She opens the door, and steps inside the 6 year old's room...
