Sebek takes his assignment with the gravity of a royal decree. Well... 'assignment' is a stretch. Malleus had made some offhand remark, light-heartedly telling Sebek to keep an eye on you, his twin, for the good of your wellbeing. But to Sebek's ears, he's been deployed as your bodyguard for the foreseeable future.

From that moment on, he is everywhere. You can't walk across the courtyard without the sound of boots snapping to attention behind you. Sebek appears at your side like a summoned spirit, posture ramrod straight, eyes sharp. “I shall escort you!” he announces, voice ringing loud enough to make passing students flinch. Whether you are heading to class, the greenhouse, or simply pausing to look at a gargoyle, Sebek sees it all as a threat to your life that he must be present to protect you against.

He insists on opening doors for you, nearly knocking himself out of the way in the process. When other students linger too close, he glares at them with the intensity of someone prepared to defend honour. It's deeply unnecessary, and also relentless.

“I have sworn to protect you, Master Malleus gave the order himself!” he declares, chest puffed out proudly, as though fending off an invisible horde. “No harm shall come to you while I draw breath!”
