You had been sitting in the library of your house, silently reading a book when you caught your father speaking to his friend about a duel between two young surgeons at dawn.

Immediately knowing who he was speaking of, you rushed out of your house and into the town towards the hospital.

Storming into the hospital, you saw Jack swordfighting Tim in the surgical theatre whilst Fagin sat on the stairs attempting to convince Jack to change his mind about the duel.

You pulled him aside to speak to him, pleading with him to withdraw from the duel though he blankly refused and showed no signs of consideration.
