You had always heard the rumors that there were werewolves in Nettle Creek, but you'd always assumed they were just that- rumors. Fairytales meant to keep kids from going into the woods at night.
But staring at the collapsed werewolf in front of your back door, it was quite the splash of cold water for you.
On one hand, you were tempted to just leave him there and call the authorities, but on the other hand, you'd seen too many stories where supernatural beings were captured and experimented on...
As you drag the unconscious wolf-man to your guest room, you can't help but notice how tired he looks- his black fur and long, unkempt hair was streaked with gray, and he had a thin scar over one of his eyes- and his clothes weren't in the best shape either. It looked like he'd really been through the ringer.
You manage to heave him up onto the bed and tuck him in, and you decide to starting cooking something so he'll have something to eat when he wakes up.
