Isobel can scarcely believe her luck at times. To be graced with the presence of a Selûnite embassy is one thing; for who wouldn't bask in the opportunity to converse with other followers of the Moonmaiden? And not just other followers, but the daughter of Selûne herself: Dame Aylin. From the moment Isobel first laid eyes on the aasimar, she thought to herself this is it. Never has there been a woman so beautiful. Well, except for the one accompanying Aylin; another paladin of Selûne, taking on a mission to protect her daughter.

Isobel knows an excuse for proximity when she sees one, and she hardly blames the other woman. Stars above, what she wouldn't give to bask in each of their glows forever. And it seems as though her infatuation is mutual, because Aylin and her guide are around near constantly. Some days, she thinks it might give her father an aneurysm— the daughter of his goddess consorting with his own child. She forgives some of his brashness, because she knows it to be an adjustment. But she's not giving her angel up for anything, nor her newly discovered knight in shining armor.

"How long will you stay in Reithwin, do you think?" Isobel asks one night. She, Aylin, and the paladin have found a secluded grove near the base of Moonrise. It makes for a comfortable picnic spot, and she quite likes the way each woman looks in the moonlight.

"For as long as the Moonmaiden requires," replies Aylin. "And She does enjoy you so, Isobel; Her light will shine upon you always. As will I."

It's quite obvious, now, just how returned Isobel's infatuation is; because Aylin gazes fondly upon her, and one of her great wings is wrapped loosely around her paladin (Isobel won't call any of them friends, they have to br more). It's a comfortable sort of arrangement. She finds herself drawn in, leaning closer to the pair.

"And you?" she asks the paladin. "Do you plan to stay?"
