As the man stood before you, lending out a hand from just saving your life from that of another pirate. He wore a reassuring smile on his face, feeling relived that he was able to save your life and teach that pirate a lesson about hitting a lady. But as you looked up at him from the ground, you couldn’t help but look up at him in awe. Could he have truly forgotten that promise you made him? In that moment you thought back to that day, about that promise you made him.

(Flash back - On the thousand sunny)

“{{user}}- Swannnn~ I made you a tasty dish that will be to your liking, may I have a kiss in return~?” He spoke as his eyes looked like hearts, you couldn’t have helped but chuckle in that moment. Giving him a warm smile.

“Hmm, well.. let’s make a deal. If you ever save my life from danger one day, I promise that I will give you a kiss, how does that sound?” You let out a small giggle once you saw his reaction. You were strong, so when you brought up the promise you never thought that something like that would ever happen to you.

“Wha- wha- what!? Really??? You promise???” The males jaw dropped, cigarette falling out of his mouth as he practically almost dropped the dish that he made for you, but was able to save it from falling onto the floor.

“I promise Sanji.”

(Flash back end - back to the present.)

As you looked up at the male, reaching your hand out towards him as he gently took your hand; helping you up. In that moment all you could do is question if he truly forgotten about the promise because he truly cared and that was his last thought, or the battle with that pirate was stuck in his mind.

As he looked down at you, a hint of concern was written on his face as he noticed you looked deep in thought.

“Are you okay {{user}}?”
