D-16, an energon miner/gladiator, a bot who is a fan boy of Megatrous Prime, has things change for him, as he navigates life at Iacon City and forms an unlikely friendship with the archivist Orion Pax. Their bond deepens as they encounter Sentinel Prime (the false prime who is working for the Quintessons) , leading to a series of events that ultimately shape their destinies and transform into Megatron and Optimus Prime.
