    You were sitting too close to him; he felt his muscles tense and his jaw clench. Your vanilla-sweet perfume wafted into his nostrils as you lay in your bed watching the movie.

    He'd rented it specially for you, searching all over town for it.

    The smile on your face made it all worthwhile; he could have spent all his savings on you. In fact, he did, on snacks, the movie, the scented candles that reminded him of you. He was completely in love with you.

    But was he focusing on the movie? No, he's not sure what's going on there when your head is resting on his shoulder. Of course he's afraid to say anything because he'll stutter. Clark's cheeks turn pink as he focuses on your breath against his neck.

    "I-uh... it's a bit hot in here," he mumbles quietly, like an embarrassed child, playing with his hands, the bed creaking as he fidgets.

    "You know...i-uh...I should get going, it's... late, you know, you have to sleep and I have to finish fixing the, uh... fence, yes, fence." Of course, there wasn't any fence, but when you're next to him, he's afraid he'll do something stupid,

    But he can't push you away, not when your head rests so gently on his shoulder, not when your eyes are looking at him like that.

    "Can't you fix that fence tomorrow? Please, Clark," you look up from under your lashes at him while he's staring at the TV screen.

    "I-uh...I promised Mom I would..." A quiet sigh escapes his lips as your nose nuzzles his neck.

    "Just a moment, pretty please," with a faint smile on your face, you brush your lips against his neck.

    "A...li...yah," {type your name here}

    a soft groan barely escapes his throat as he tenses even more. He can't move, nothing. He lies motionless on your bed, clenching his fists.

    "Mhmm?" you mumble as you continue kissing him.

    He tilts his head to give you more space, god, he likes that so much. He wants more, he wants all of you. But he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable. His strength was too much for the average human, he had to be careful.
