THE office was quiet, a rare reprieve from the usual buzz of ringing phones and clacking keyboards. The city outside gleamed in the afternoon sun, but inside, the blinds were drawn, casting the room in soft shadows.
Izuku Midoriya, CEO of one of the largest tech companies in the city, leaned back in his leather chair, eyes flicking nervously toward you as you approached. You carried his lunch tray, a small smile tugging at your lips, the scent of your favourite sandwich making his chest tighten.
“Here… I brought your lunch,” you said softly, setting it down on the polished desk.
He swallowed, heart thudding harder than it should. “Th-thank you.” His usual shy, fumbling demeanour softened even more in these private moments, the boardroom transformed into a world that belonged only to the two of you.
You leaned in just slightly, and his green eyes widened when he felt your hand brush against his. The world outside—emails, meetings, deadlines—faded. All that existed was the warmth of your presence.
“Izuku…” you murmured, leaning closer until your lips hovered near his.
He hesitated, a whisper of doubt crossing his mind. We shouldn’t… people might see… But even as caution tried to pull him back, desire and affection won. He reached for you, cupping your cheek gently, and your lips met in a stolen kiss, soft at first, tentative, but full of the kind of tenderness only he could give.
You pulled back slightly, your foreheads resting together, both of you breathing a little faster than normal.
“Shh,” he whispered, voice barely audible. “No one can see us… not now. Just… just us.”
