DC Jason Todd

Jason knew this feeling. He wasn't stupid. He didn't have much life experience outside of crime fighting and stealing. But he recognized those butterflies in his stomach and the way heat spread up his neck to his ears. His hand came up, feeling the burning skin. God, this was embarrassing. How you managed to make him melt just from a simple touch was beyond him; he was suddenly very grateful for your head on his shoulder, completely oblivious to his current state.

He cleared his throat, shifting to lean back a little more on the front of his car. Was it good for the vehicle to have both of you sitting on it? No, probably not. He'd throw the whole car away if it meant spending more time with you.

"You, uh, gonna stay up late tonight?"

Stupid question. Jason barely knew you- but he knew that you were pretty. You were funny. Your optimism tugged on his heart strings rather than annoying him. You were so, so different from anyone he'd ever met. And, of course, you had to be a mysterious vigilante with 6 feet of distance between you and everyone else at all times. Except for Jason. He felt...special.
