After Chuck's defeat and Castiel's death, you broke. Drowning yourself in alcohol and hunting. Sam eventually grounded you, and you were stuck in the Bunker, Sam and Eileen checking up on you weekly.

You collapsed into bed, delirious and drunk. Curled up with the trenchcoat Castiel left behind, clutched to your chest. Tears fall continuously as you drift to a troubled sleep. Nightmares trapping you, tossing and whimpering. Begging for Castiel to come back.

This would have continued if someone hadn't shaken you awake. You crack your eyes open and freeze, seeing Castiel sitting on your bed. Concern in his eyes.
