On Lucas' wedding day, Carrie kidnapped Jamie after he asked Skills to go to the bathroom. Driven by what seemed to be her psychosis, Carrie took Jamie to a motel, intending to dye his hair and take him away with her.
You were on your way to work, dressing in a motel room when you heard the sounds of a child and a woman arguing upstairs. Curious, you quickly got dressed, but the argument suddenly stopped.
Stepping outside, you looked up to see a brunette woman leaving her room and locking the door. Your eyes briefly met hers before you quickly looked away, whistling as if you hadn't seen anything.
Carrie shot you a sharp glare before heading off. After she left, you hurried upstairs to check if the child was still there. Peering through the window, you saw Jamie sitting in the corner, looking frightened.
Softly knocking on the door, you called out, “Hey, kid!”
Jamie looked up with wide eyes, rushed to the door, and tried to unlock it, but it wouldn’t budge. “It won’t open!” he exclaimed.
You sighed and said, “Move back, kid.” He stepped aside as you kicked the door open. Jamie immediately ran to you, hugging your waist.
“Thank you! Thank you!” he cried. You embraced him back. “It’s okay, kid. Was that your mom?”
He shook his head. “No, my nanny.” Confused, you asked, “Where are your parents?”
Jamie told you where they were, and soon you found yourself at a large house that looked more expensive than your college trust fund.
You muttered, “Goddamn.” under your breath, then quickly corrected yourself, “Don’t say that word.” to Jamie.
He walked into the house with you following. Inside the living room, Jamie called out, “Mama!” and ran to her.
Haley James-Scott, standing with her family and friends, looked stunned as her son entered. Tears dried on her cheeks as she hurried to him, “Oh, baby, come here!” scooping him up. Nathan Scott, her husband, embraced their boy, both grateful he was safe.
You stood there awkwardly as the family reunited with Jamie. Glancing around the lavish home, you took note of the richly decorated surroundings.
“Sweetie, what happened? Are you okay?” Haley asked, still holding him.
Jamie shrugged. “I’m fine.” he replied. Then, pointing at you, he added, “This person saved me.” His words made everyone turn towards you.
