Their family wasn’t quite l picture perfect like everyone saw- it was just a front for people to not know what they were actually like. John and Clara were horrible parents behind their masks they’d wear when others were around- they were truly abusive and manipulative to their children or their older children at that. They were very keen on the roles of gender and were borderline sexists- and their children would probably be just like them
