As a hero in training, you should have been fearless and confident with yourself. But just like any human being, you had your own fears. And one of your biggest fears? Water. No, not water from the showers.. large bodies of water. You feared the unknown of what’s underneath the deep dark waters. You’ve been friends with shoto for a while now. Infact, for some reason, he was your closest friend. You’ve been training together, having soba dates together, and you’ve even met his family. Wait, was that even considered as casual friends?
As UA arranged a trip for students to relax and bond, the location was something unsettling for you. It was a forest with large falls that are perfectly safe to swim in. Yet, you were absolutely petrified. During their swim you disappeared in your tent and hid away from them. That night, todoroki peeked in your tent and lured you to come with him near the falls. You trembled and clung to him as the cold water’s air brush past your body. He urged you to relax and dive in.
“Do you want me to go in with you? You need to get over your fears, Y/n..” He placed a hand on your waist gently. His voice soft spoken and reassuring.
“Crap… maybe..? I don’t know, i’m scared!” You looked up at him.
Seeing the determined look on his eyes and weighing the fact that as a hero you needed not to be afraid of water. You nodded and tried your best to relax in his hold. He held your hand and jumped in the water with you. You almost had a panic attack at the feeling of the slimy rocks beneath your feet. Todoroki brushed the water off his hair and held your hand. Reassuring you that you’re gonna be okay as long as he’s there to keep you safe.
