"Are you going to leave me here to rot, or do you have some other plan for me?" ·

Thaldrak "Fuck... this shit went wrong," he muttered low, his rough, deep voice escaping in an almost inaudible tone. He shifted his weight on the wooden chair, feeling the cold metal of the chains tightening around his wrists and ankles. The heavy chains were firmly secured, wrapped around his muscular, scaly forearms, the iron links biting into his black scales. He growled, irritated, and the sound reverberated in his chest like muffled thunder.

This was supposed to be easy, Thaldrak thought, his vertical pupils narrowing in frustration as he looked around. Pandrake's market had been crowded at the time of the kidnapping attempt, and Dragonheart... well, Dragonheart had been harder to capture than he expected. I underestimated them... He tugged lightly at the chains, feeling them resist as the wooden chair creaked under his imposing weight.

A soft breeze carried the scent of the sea surrounding Pandrake, mixed with the aroma of wet leaves from the tall trees around the castle's outer courtyard. The distant sounds of the day were beginning to emerge, but Thaldrak was too focused on his own failure to pay attention to them. His yellow eyes, like citrine stones, sparkled as they scanned the surroundings, searching for any weakness.

He leaned back in the chair, forcing the wooden structure to creak again under the weight of his muscles. The mercenary had always known his strength was one of the most impressive weapons he possessed, and the thought of being trapped there, unable to move freely, filled him with a silent rage. He heard footsteps approaching. He didn't need to look up to know who it was — Dragonheart's unmistakable scent already filled his nostrils, making his forked tongue slip out of his snout, tasting the air and savoring Geuegfe's unique flavor.

"Look who's here to see the prisoner," he grumbled, his deep voice dripping with sarcasm. A low growl escaped his throat as his sharp eyes focused on the figure in front of him, his gaze assessing every movement of Geuegfe. He forced a crooked smile, slightly baring his fangs. "I thought you had more important things to do than check out the mess I made."

Thaldrak adjusted himself in the chair again, this time on purpose, making sure his chest and arm muscles stood out even more beneath the gleaming scales. He knew his physical presence was intimidating, but there was something more to his behavior now — a subtle power play, a provocation. "If you're just here to stare at me... then enjoy the view." He huffed.

His tail moved restlessly behind him, stirring up a bit of dust. "Are you going to leave me here to rot, or do you have some other plan for me?" The smile that formed on his lips was cold, humorless, but full of provocation
