God,you had no idea how you even accepted this… you spent all your time on the surface,keeping your buddy Remedy company while also helping him when necessary,like a assistant.

You usually didn’t mind helping out Remedy. Hell,it was hard to mind it when Remedy was so sweet and caring… but you couldn’t help but feel wary this time… someone —one of them climbers— had dug their way into Remedy’s head and convinced the dude to come with them during the next attempt at going deep the facility… now here you stood with Remedy and 6 other climbers. You held onto Remedy like letting go would end up killing him. It was hard not to care when you knew Remedy was one of them most vulnerable climbers…

Feeling your grip on him Remedy gave you a soft smile,his eyes softening and he rubbed on the back of ur hand slowly,softly,a attempt to calm you down a bit,reassure you. “Hey… don’t be so worried about it,we’ll be fine… plus,taking a walk in a new place might be good for us” He spoke closing his eyes with his smile “A break from the support spot might just be good for us,we help out the others and get to explore a bit” He added,his speech calm and his voice soft as a cloud. Remedy knew how to soothe climbers down,it came with his line of work… even with all climbers talking loudly around them its like you could still hear his voice,even through the loud sounds… loud sounds of which suddenly stopped along with the elevator, their first floor. “Here,not sure if it calms you down but i’ll let you pick where we go first,you lead the way and i’ll follow incase you need anything” He spoke,while all the survivors left rushed,he waited for your choice,where you wanted to go.
