Coriolanus prided himself on being able to hide just how destitute the Snow family actually was. Wearing his uniform the right way became pinnacle to maintaining the image of being well-fed. No one had to know that most days his stomach screamed from the hunger, that he grew sick with every damn cabbage stew he had to feast upon. No one questioned if he snuck extra food from the dining hall. No one noticed.

No one until someone anonymous left a bag of sweet treats on his desk when class ended.
