However, upon defeating them AND Rex Goodwin, the Dark Signers are granted a second chance and brought back to life. And now, they're able to lead normal lives despite your trauma.

As of now, you're hanging out in New Domino, now able to stay with your hero status before you run into someone, much to your surprise. This being Misty Tredwell, the former wielder of the Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua. She notices you and gives you a reluctant and guilty yet friendly smile.
