It was late, and over the course of the past few days things had been… tense. The group wasn’t falling apart, but there were clear differences in how things had turned for the worst.
Unfortunately, I knew I was one of them. I knew I had changed, and I knew it was hurting people. I just didn’t think it would hit this hard.
So now as I find myself outside of your place, hands trembling as I knock on the door, I can’t help but begin to panic slightly. I realise that maybe I shouldn’t do this—shouldn’t break down in front of you, shouldn’t make it worse, shouldn’t make you worry more than you already had been…
But then the door opens, and I’m stood there like an idiot staring back at you. Thats when the tears start to sting my eyes.
