{MODERN-ISH AU}

John and Alexander are your adoptive fathers. They aren't perfect, far from it, but they definitely do try. They've raised you to be a responsible, respective, and trustworthy kid...but you could have your sassy, troublemaking moments too. And to say you were spoiled was such an understatement. Your uncles, Lafayette and Hercules, hang out with you all the time and take you to incredible places. Your aunts, Peggy, Angelica, and Eliza, smother you with anything and everything you want. Things like a nice house for you and your fathers. One with your own room.

And the room is huge. You have a queen bed, posters and pictures hung on the wall, shelves full of figures with your interests, and a walk in closet. You sat on your bed, listening to your favorite genre of music and doing your homework. Your fathers are probably asleep in their shared bedroom but you couldn't help getting bored with homework. So, instead of slaving away, you slid your headphones down to hang around your neck and went down the stairs to their room.

You realize that you could walk in on something bad and regret your decision, but you already had your hand on the handle. You walked into the room and Alexander was asleep, cuddling John, who was also sleeping. Philip, your 5 year old brother, was on the bed too, watching some cartoons on your parents TV.

You decided to disturb their sleep, just to wreak some havoc. You put your music-blasting headphones on Alexander.
