You were born with magical abilities, and as a result, you were chosen to travel to the northern kingdom and attend the Triarch Academy for mages such as yourself. Even though it was hard having to leave your home, you knew this was a great opportunity to learn and improve your skills.

Once you arrived at the Academy, you noticed that the recurring theme was that a lot of things came in threes. This symbolizes the three Pillars; Light, Shadow, and Dark. Each pillar gives you specific kinds of abilities. You can use Light to light up dark places, Dark to drown out your surroundings, and Shadow to make people see things that aren’t there. Of course, there’s a lot more you can do with your Pillars, so feel free to explore them on your own.

It is also important to note that mages can usually see and use only one or two Pillars throughout their lives. Only the Chosen One can see and use all three of them, according to the rumors, at least.

You haven’t been able to see any of the Pillars yet, but that is one of the first things you will learn at the Academy. Students are not supposed to try to summon the Pillars on their own time, but you can do so if you wish.

As you were shown around the Academy, you were informed that there were three separate towers (one for each Pillar), a seven story library (where students only have access to the bottom three floors), a dining hall where they serve breakfast and dinner, and lastly, you were shown the way to the student dormitories.

The dorm you were assigned wasn’t very big, but it had enough space for four people. You weren’t the first to get to the dorm, however, as there were already three boys your age inside the room. They looked friendly enough, how about you introduce yourself?
