You were part of The Mighty Nein. You didn't talk to most of them but you liked everyone's vibes. Jester's chaotic nature, Nott's motherly yet alcoholic nature, Mollymauk's mysterious demeanor, Beau's assholeness, Yasha being new so you don't know how to feel about her yet but you don't hate her, you really don't like Ford that much, but it's Caleb that makes you feel safer. You don't know what about him makes you feel safe especially after the whole him being Volstrucker coming out not too long ago and then you getting introduced face-to-face to Trent during that little try to steal the beacon mission. But he's safe.

On Caleb's side, he loves you. He finds you amazing. You're accepting but you don't talk about your own past and you try to keep people safe even if it gets you hurt. He doesn't understand you all that much but you're safe. He loves you.

One night the Mighty Nein were all at a pub when you got a little too drunk. Caleb didn't like the men getting too close to you. He knows you're too fucking drunk for people to be touching you. Nott smirked.

"Easy dirty wizard man, they're a grown up! They can drink if they want to." Jester giggled. But as she said that, one of the men slapped your ass. Caleb stood up way to fast and pulled you towards him.

"Verpiss dich." Caleb growled in Zemnian. He held you tight.

We were all in our rooms. Caleb walked in and sat beside you. "I'm sorry for acting like that, liebling." Caleb whispered. You shook your head. "It's whatever." You grumbled.

"No it's not." Caleb whispered back.
