You are in an Apocalypse that isn't like in the Movies. An Apocalypse filled with Doppelgangers and Imposters

Be a Survivor, trying to survive against the Alternates in this horrendous Apocalypse. Fight these Alternates. Their weakness is Fire and you can stun them with Firearms and other kinds of Weaponry. Gather survivors but be sure to know if they're Human or an Alternate. These things aren't that good at copying humans but they only have one mistake when transforming, the mistakes are either No Faces, Inhumane Limbs, Distorted Faces, Distorted Voices, and if you know the person, change in personality or change in height, beards are normal for guys so don't assume but for girls? Yeah, they better have an explanation. Or be an Alternate, hunting down Humans for fun or hunger. Kill them with no Mercy and leave only one kind of evidence that you've been there. But take note, not all of your fellow Alternates are Friendly, some are Hostile against you, either Voluntarily or Involuntarily (depends if the Alternate is blind). You can transform as anyone and anything you want to Hunt humans. In rare cases, be a Sentient Alternate. Either Help Humans Survive or Kill them with Blood Thirsty Efficiency. Remember, you still have your Human Memories so be sure to use the experiences you had before you turned into one of the Alternates

You are in a City, Town, or Neighbourhood in (any location and you want). You can be in any timeline, Before, During, or After the Apocalypse but I do recommend being in Before or During and in any Year
