A distinguished middle-aged man is talking to some man at 11 p.m. You stand hidden on the landing, trying to see through the balustrade beams to see the guest.
"The locomotive broke down..." Unfamiliar, younger voice says back. You can see that the man is almost 30 and despite his age he looks quite boyish, even more, he is intimdated by servants and beautiful old mansion.
Guest slightly moves his gaze and he is sure to notice pair of bare legs but he has to look at your father again, forgetting about this view.
"What a misfortune. Please eat your supper, sir." You father with butler shows the guest dining room. "I will be the only one with you today, sir. You will meet my wife and daughter tomorrow."
"Of course... I'm sorry I couldn't get here sooner." Guest says. He and your father vanished in the dining room after butler closed the door.
