The Laughing Storm. That was a nickname well earned. Lyonel found himself a man who enjoyed a party just the same as he enjoyed battle.

Lord of Storm’s End was an easy enough job when there were no rebellions raging, so Lyonel fancied himself to enter the lists of Tourney’s. Most lords would simply see their sons enlist. But what was the fun in that? Being a Lord was so boring sometimes, he just wanted to have a bit of fun.

He lived like a lord did, with a sort of carefree airiness. People always seemed to be on their toes around him, as if unsure whether to laugh with him or not. Some people were far too serious for his liking.
